I have not clear one thing. When I import data into SUAS database, it must be in a certain SRS (I don't really understand why does it let to use a "SRS_not_defined").

What if my layer SRS is for example EPSG:23030 and I want my WMS map to be available in some other projections (multiple SRS shown in GetCapabilities)?
I suppose SUAS to be capable of rendering the layer in a different SRS (so national SRSs can be overlayed on world maps), but how to do it?

Some different questions regarding suas mapserver 4 (interesting software!!):

- Is postgresql a requirement or not? It is listed in the mandatory prerequisites but together with mysql (1 and 2). Perhaps this means I can use EITHER 1 or 2?
I tried my installation (ubuntu) with both of them enabled (just to be safe), but our production server has not postgresql so I wonder if it is mandatory or not

Many users have complained me that they had strange problems when installed SUAS map server, i think i have found the reason, the new version PHP(5.3.1+) use the constrain code policy, in script the php tag must start with <?php
for example:

old version php(5.3.1-) this will work:
<?php
echo "test";
?>
<?
echo "test2";
?>
<?="test3"?>

in new version php, it MUST be:
<?php
echo "test";
?>
<?php
echo "test2";
?>
<?php echo "test3"?>

i've problems installing the suas map server 4.
After entering the path to the installation directory i get only the following error line:

"Parse error. syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\....\suas4\models\menu.inc on line 538"

I've nothing changed in any files except the php.ini. (only the lines mentioned in the documentation)

my environment is:
windows vista business edition, service pack 1
apache 2.2.12
mysql 5.1.37
php 5.3.0
perl 5.10.0

Please how can i import raster data to suas map server? i use csv (null;null;0;tile_test;IMAGE;EPSG:4326;-180.0;81.0;-171.0;90.0;LINESTRING(-180.0 -90.0,-180.0 -81.0,-171.0 -81.0,-171.0 -90.0,-180.0 -90.0);http://localhost/tile_test-0-19.png;).
I have shape and georeferenced tiff. Some documentation how to use and import raster data to mapserver?

I am following EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED the installation procedure suggested in "30 Minutes to Build Your Own Map Server with SUAS MapServer 3i" but unfortunatly without success.

When I perform the last step "Please select one viewer to browse the map", the only response I get is the contains of an XML document in my browser, instead of the expected map. It seems that the viewer does not recognize the map server data it receives.

I double-checked the and repeated the whole procedure but no luck.

Has anybody other encountered the same problems ?

Im trying to use easyWMS as a simple WMS server for several layers for non-GIS-expertise.
I've tried to load layers to ArcGIS and Google Earth with no success.
With ArcGIS I have the same error that appears in the post "SUASWMS + ArcMap", and with Google Earth i proceed as it somes:
- Add - Network link - http://neosur.es/wms/WMS/getmapcap.php?
Of course I loaded a shp with SRS_not_defined
I am missing something? Its really possible to do it with PHPMyWMS?

Sorry i am from russia, my english is terrible. I have one question :). it is possible show own raster georeferenced data (jpg, tiff with word files) by suas map server? If is, how, and how show own raster data and my vector data in mysql together?

Can anybody help to load suas wms layers in arcMap.

The process of loading layers at some GIS programs is OK, but at the Arc Map I get an error message:
"One or more layers failed to draw:

Open Source SUAS MapServeri: WMS service exceptions:-Service Error Code:InvalidUpdateSequence
Service Error Description: SERVICE has not been given. The supported SERVICE is WMS
-Service Error Code:InvalidUpdateSequence"
